DESCRIPTION:\nDisability inclusion and accessibility in the workplace often leaves out individuals with high support needs. Employment is so vital to the livelihood of autistic individuals of all abilities. Yet in Washington State very rarely high support needs individuals ever experience employment. Please join Dr. Abby George and Miguel Smith, MSW for effective strategies that help promote meaningful inclusion and accessibility practices.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDr. Abbey George BCBA-D\n\n\n\nDr. George is a passionate and driven neurodiversity and disability ally, advocate, coach and consultant. Innovative thinker using research-based strategies in advanced ways to create, implement and support new and existing partnerships within our community in the PNW. Experienced program manager, leading and developing new programs. Skilled networker building meaningful partnerships in the community. National speaker inspiring employers and professionals to better support our neurodiverse and disabled community.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMiguel Smith, MSW\n\n\n\nAt the Department of Vocational Rehab(VR) Mr. Smith provided VR counseling to assist clients to develop their Individualized Plan for Employment (IPE) and make progress throughout their employment rehabilitation process, and guide implementation of the IPE, and monitor progress toward completion of the employment goal.\n
