One of our favorite performers is back to celebrate WAA with you – Robert McPherson is an internationally acclaimed operatic tenor – praised by The New York Times – who has performed leading roles with major companies including the Metropolitan Opera, English National Opera, and Israeli Opera. A standout achievement in his career was contributing to the Houston Symphony’s Grammy Award–winning recording of Wozzeck, along with an extensive discography across top classical labels. For Seattle audiences, he is a hometown talent who frequently performs with the Seattle Symphony and local arts organizations, bringing world-class opera back to the region. Beyond classical stages, he’s also a familiar local figure through his award-winning comedic show The Drunken Tenor and performances at iconic Seattle events like Bumbershoot and Mariners games.
