As a mother of a wonderful son on the autism spectrum, I know firsthand how overwhelming it can be to navigate insurance denials, mounting medical bills, and the maze of systems that are supposed to support your child. When my family needed help most, the Washington Autism Alliance stepped in, guiding us through insurance appeals, helping me understand our rights, and standing by our side, completely free of charge. My journey is personal, I’ve experienced both the challenges and the incredible joys that come with it. That’s why I’m passionate about raising funds and awareness to support programs and resources that make a real difference for children and families like mine.
I believe that every contribution counts, no matter the size. Even a small donation can make a meaningful impact and help provide the support, opportunities, and experiences that children on the autism spectrum deserve.
