Learn to develop friendship skills in a safe and supportive learning environ- ment. Our groups focus on verbal and nonverbal methods of engaging in age- appropriate conversations and practicing them in fun, engaging activities.
We concentrate on:
• Understanding and engaging in appropriate conversations
• Participating in reciprocal conversations (initiating, engaging and ending)
• Paying attention and listening to others
• Taking turns
• Staying on topic
• Choosing friends
• Trying new things

Cost: Only $25 for four sessions! (We’re able to offer this price thanks to a generous grant from the Everett Clinic Foundation.)
Open to: Students ages 12-17 (with or without communication devices) Reporting: We provide a progress note at the end of each session. Space is limited to four students. Register today!

Our group is facilitated by speech and language pathologist
Laura Crandall, M.CSD, CCC-SLP. She has 25 years experience as a speech and language pathologist specializing in children from birth to 3. She also works with adults and children to help them achieve their potential with assistive technology.
