Description

Atlas Assistance Dogs is a non profit organization that works with individuals with disabilities to help them train their own dog as a service dog. Our Client Certification program is designed for those who already have a dog that is suitable for service work and with a foundation of obedience training. We provide hands-on in-depth and individualized support to help you train your needed disability mitigating tasks, public access skills, and help you build confidence as a service dog handler.

We do not provide fully trained service dogs or assess puppies for service work potential.

Current wait-list and factors to consider with the wait-list?
We do not have an official wait list. However, depending on location and current availability of our trainers, there may be a short waiting period before being able to begin the program. We will be able to communicate this with you early on in the application process.
Do you allow parents/caregivers to participate in or observe sessions?
