Description
TeamChild upholds the rights of youth involved, or at risk of being involved, in the juvenile justice system to help them secure the education, healthcare, housing and other supports they need to achieve positive outcomes in their lives. TeamChild provides free legal services directly to young people to help them overcome obstacles that get in the way of their success. Generally, we work or young people currently or recently incarcerated in one of the state’s Juvenile Rehabilitation (JR) facilities. We prioritize clients who are low-income or would not be able to afford a private attorney. We serve King, Pierce, Spokane and Yakima County.
