KYFS offers counseling to children, youth, and families across King County and beyond.KYFS provides counseling services for youth up to age 25 and their families throughout South King County and surrounding areas. Our program is dedicated to those seeking help by creating services that are compassionate, effective, efficient, and culturally informed. KYFS offers a comprehensive range of social services, recreational, and educational programs for youth and their families residing in and around the three King County Housing Authority sites on the East Hill of Kent: Birch Creek Apartments, Valli Kee Homes, and Cascade Apartments.
KYFS accepts Medicaid and many private health insurances. Services are provided in our offices, via telehealth, and through partnership with Kent School District in the schools.
