Since law school I have a master's degree in special education and I have worked as a special education teacher and then educational consultant for 20 years before law school. Since law school I have devoted my practice to representing parents and children in all areas of school law. This has included representing parents at IEP meetings, 504 meetings, discipline hearings, due process hearings, and then appeals to federal court. I also help parents become guardians of their disabled children turning 18 years old.
