Our Speech and OT team provide high-quality, family-centered telehealth services.

TACID does not offer health care services and does not provide urgent or primary care.

We will be offering virtual classes only beginning in June, 2020.

I will participate in IEP meetings virtually. I will consult with parents over the phone. Doing virtual meetings helps keep the cost affordable without sacrificing competence or effectiveness. I will be available for the parent to text me during the meeting. If you have any questions, you can text me, and they’ll be able to text you back. If I have a question, I may be able to text you as well. Also, if you need to talk to me during the meeting, I can stop the meeting, and you can leave the meeting and go to a private area and call me. The schools are very accommodating and, many times, are thankful for the break. Once the call is completed, the meeting can resume. After the meeting, I will call you to debrief and review the meeting results and discuss what, if anything, needs to happen next.

Please note: All meetings are Virtual. I have one objective: to make sure your meeting is as successful as possible in getting your child the appropriate help he/she needs. Again, my highest priority is the success of the meeting.

At Learn 2 Achieve, I utilize telehealth to provide convenient, accessible support for parents navigating the special education process. Through secure video conferencing, I offer parents the flexibility to meet from home or work, eliminating the need for travel while ensuring that they remain engaged in every step of their child’s education.

With telehealth, we can review IEP documents, assessments, and reports together in real-time using screen-sharing tools, making the process more interactive and effective. This also allows for seamless collaboration with other professionals, such as teachers and therapists, to ensure everyone is aligned on your child’s needs.

Additionally, telehealth sessions can be recorded (with consent), allowing you to revisit the discussions or share them with family members or other stakeholders. Secure document sharing ensures that all important paperwork, from evaluations to meeting notes, is easily accessible.

For families in rural areas or those with scheduling challenges, telehealth bridges the gap, making it possible for you to receive expert guidance and advocacy without geographic or logistical limitations. Follow-up meetings and ongoing support are just a click away, reducing stress and providing consistent, reliable assistance throughout the process.

Direct work with clients is generally done in person but consultative services are provided in a variety of ways.
