What We Do
Welcome to Sendan Center. Our mission is to provide you the very best in child and adolescent mental and behavioral healthcare services through comprehensive, collaborative, evidence-based care.
Mental and behavioral disorders among children are very common. Just as with childhood physical illness and injury, good treatments exist for most childhood mental and behavioral disorders.
James Harle, MD, has provided child and adolescent mental health consultation, evaluation, and treatment for area families, physicians, schools and social-service providers since 2003.
In 2011 Dr. Harle founded Sendan Center, convening highly skilled, compassionate clinicians under one roof  to offer families comprehensive, multi-disciplinary, evidence-based diagnosis and treatment.

Diagnosis Services:
Do you take insurance?
No. Sendan Autism Services does not bill insurance.  Families are responsible for all fees throughout the diagnostic process. We will provide you with invoices for each bill due, including billing codes and amounts owed and paid, to be submitted to insurance for possible reimbursement.
The only exception to this is that if you have Regence or Group Health. In that case, a small portion (maximum $200) may be billable to your insurance. If you have Regence or Group Health, please indicate that on your intake form, or let your Autism Program Therapist know.
Will my insurance reimburse me for the diagnostic process?
Individual insurance companies may or may not reimburse for any or all of the diagnostic fees. It is the patient’s responsibility to check with their insurance company prior to the start of the diagnostic process to see what portions their insurance may be willing to pay for.
How much does a typical diagnostic evaluation cost?
The diagnostic process can range in price anywhere from approximately $1500 to upwards of $2500. This may vary based on the amount of testing deemed necessary by the clinicians in order to accurately diagnose your child. This will be payable in three lump sums over the course of the diagnostic process.
Does Sendan Center currently have a waitlist for diagnosis?
No. However, the order of patients seen for diagnosis is on a first come-first serve basis.
