My name is Carrie Sheppard. I\u2019m a licensed mental health counselor with 25 years of experience working with children and families. I\u2019m also the parent of two boys with diagnosed neuro-developmental disorders.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve built my practice not only through my education and expertise, but also around my experiences both as a counselor and as a parent. I\u2019ve learned what works and what doesn\u2019t. Since 1985, I\u2019ve helped countless families, educators and health care professionals \u2013 locally, nationally and even internationally. In addition to helping families one-to-one, I share my knowledge and expertise worldwide as an accomplished trainer and speaker.<\/p>\n<p>Through a range of services, including Relationship Development Intervention (RDI), I help parents break down the big picture into smaller, more manageable steps \u2013 a custom road map, if you will \u2013 that nurtures growth and maximizes potential, now and for a lifetime.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>***Please contact Carrie Shepard for specific insurance information***<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Rates &#8211;\u00a0Individual psychotherapy (50 minutes) -$130 ,\u00a0Initial diagnostic session (55 minutes)-$160, RDI services, per hour-$150 per hour, Extended psychotherapy session (75 minutes) -$180, Late cancellation\/missed appointment fee -$60 , Returned check fee -$40<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Insurance<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Most private health insurance plans are accepted and will cover portions of my services. For your convenience, we will bill your primary insurance; however, please check with your carrier to be certain of the provisions of your policy, including deductibles and co-pays, as you will be held responsible for any costs not covered by your plan. It is up to you to obtain any mental health pre-authorizations (if required by your plan) prior to your first visit.
