The ICC membership includes representatives from many of these services.<\/p>\n<p>Early Intervention during the first years of a child&#8217;s life can make a big difference in the future of that child.<\/p>\n<p>Early Intervention may:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>help you find services you need for your child<\/li>\n<li>help you understand your child&#8217;s developmental growth<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In Kitsap County, the driving force or foundation of all early intervention service delivery is a family-centered approach.\u00a0<strong>Families<\/strong>\u00a0of infants and toddlers with disabilities are always at the\u00a0<strong>center of service<\/strong>coordination.<\/p>\n<p>Family Resource Coordinators work directly with the families of infants and toddlers to ensure that services:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>are accessible<\/li>\n<li>are within close proximity for families<\/li>\n<li>are free from attitudinal or architectural barriers<\/li>\n<li>meet child and family needs<\/li>\n<li>are flexibly scheduled<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Families and professionals working together meeting the needs of children with disabilities birth to 6 years of age.
