Following interviews with the people most involved in the client\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s life, and observations in their natural environment(s), a complete comprehensive assessment (Functional Behavior Assessment) is developed to fully understand and structure the support needs of that individual. Interventions include positive reinforcement of new skills, among other strategies as outlined in a Behavior Support Plan. Parents, caregivers, and others will be provided the knowledge and tools needed to implement the recommended strategies.<br \/>\nTeam-Centered Approach<\/p>\n<p>DBS believes in the importance of collaborating with other professionals for the well-being of treatment and care for the whole-person. This can include parents, care providers, school personnel, mental health professionals, doctors, and other therapeutic professionals.
