Hi, I’m Karl Reichert (he\/him). I\u2019m a I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) in Washington state and a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Oregon. I am an autistic therapist. I was diagnosed later in life and have come to understand how much this affected everything in my life: from work, to friendships, to schooling. To quote Babylon 5: \u201cYou have the opportunity, here and now, to choose, to become something greater and nobler and more difficult than you have been before. The universe does not offer such chances often.\u201d I am loudly and proudly autism-affirming; I also strive to be LGBTQ-affirming, fat-positive, and anti-racist and to stand against all forms of oppression. Ultimately, my goal is to help you develop your own therapeutic style and become the therapist you want to be\u2014I don\u2019t want to clone myself.<\/p>\n
