WAAA, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, expands access to healthcare, education and services for people with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) & related intellectual and developmental disabilities(IDD). As noted by one client, “because of what WAAA has accomplished, insurance now has to pay for scientifically proven therapies our kids with Autism need. But this battle is far from over...”. Many families in Washington state struggle to get insurance coverage or educational support for the services their kids need.
During the Month of April we will celebrate Autism Acceptance though Faces of Autism social media campaign #AutisticAndLoved. # # #
