Disability inclusion and accessibility in the workplace often leaves out individuals with high support needs. Employment is so vital to the livelihood of autistic individuals of all abilities. Yet in Washington State very rarely high support needs individuals ever experience employment. Neil Barnett, Microsoft, Disability Inclusion Leader
Neil helped to develop Microsoft’s Neurodiversity Hiring Program, which has been in place since 2015. He leads Microsoft's inclusive hiring strategy for people with disabilities. Neil also oversees the strategy and operational performance of Microsoft’s consumer and enterprise Disability Answer Desk, which provides specialized customer support to people with disabilities.
