We are less than 1 week away from the first official day of Spring (March 20th)! As we approach the upcoming Spring season, I hope to highlight the positive impact of our teams in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the first couple of months of the year! Within the last couple of months, the WAA leadership and staff have demonstrated an immense amount of effort when it comes to:

• Staffing Support and Coverage to meet the needs of very high volume of calls for support
• 97 Needs assessment and intakes and 83 active program engagements
• Family Navigation across multiple systems (healthcare, special education, social services, and referrals for housing and vocational supports)
• Legal Support
• 4 Free Special Education Legal Clinics per week - Mondays and Thursdays ongoing (link to the registration) 
• Blueprints to Special Education - March 18th (link to registration)
• Participating in Community Resource Events 
• Connecting with Autism Centers statewide
• Establishing new community partnerships 
• Legislative Advocacy - Enhanced Behavior Support Homes and improving access to special education services
• And much much more

Meanwhile, our ongoing processes and programs continue to grow and expand. We are excited to plan our annual spring campaign which will take place throughout the month of April. Please stay tuned for more information.
