Today, we honor the strength, resilience, and beauty of Black autistic children and their families across Washington state.
Black autistic children are a vital part of our community, and their voices and experiences deserve to be heard and celebrated. They bring unique perspectives and talents to the world, and they have the power to inspire and teach us all.
We recognize that Black autistic children and their families often face unique challenges. They may experience discrimination, prejudice, and lack of understanding from others. But we also know that they are capable of great things, and we are committed to supporting them on their journey.
We honor the Black autistic children and their families who have come before us, and we celebrate the progress that has been made. But we also know that there is still much work to be done. We must continue to advocate for inclusive education, accessible healthcare, and supportive services for Black autistic children and their families.
So today, let us all pledge to honor and celebrate Black autistic children and their families in Washington state. Let us create a world where they can thrive and reach their full potential.
