Story of Hope: Mohtasham Razawy with his families

It was April 2nd, 2018, when Ahmad Razawy was reading British Broadcasting Corporation, he read a report about Autism. He had never heard about Autism before, but some symptoms of Autism caught his eye after he read the text entirely.

“Most of those symptoms are with my son”

Mohtasham Razawy, the son of Ahmad, was accurately cared by his parents after he started walking. This little boy went to bed late and did not react to the questions from his parents. “He had made my wife and me exhausted”, Ahmad said.

After April 2nd, Ahmad started researching Autism and tried their best to take care of Mohtasham.

“I mostly research the websites and read the reports about Autism, although we are not professional in this field, but as the parents of him, we try our best to take care of our children”

The following two interview question answers are from Ahmad, he talked about his experience with WAAA.

The interview with Ahmad Razawy:

WAAA: How has WAAA helped you?

Ahmad: WAAA helped me find and apply for services like ABA, ST, and DDA. They connected me to community organizations that have helped me with SSI and other financial assistance. It was like a connection bridge. I was given support, someone to explain things to me and someone to listen to me and offer advice. Without WAAA my child would not be where he is at today.

WAAA: What was the result of WAAA’s support?

Ahmad: I could find all the organizations which are working in supporting the Autism patients, I could apply or schedule appointments in the field of DDA, Speech Therapy, ABA, SSI.

"I have so many benefits because of the help I got from WAAA. I am very thankful", Ahmad said.
