Washington Autism Alliance was excited to welcome Dr. Kim Kressin this year to be part of our WAA board. Dr. Kressin is autistic, a neurodiversity advocate and physician. She is working tirelessly to decrease barriers in health care for autistics. We feel very fortunate to have Dr. Kressin as the Chair of our Health Care Committee. “I'm passionate about working towards a future where autistic people's needs are properly accommodated by the world around them in a way that promotes their best life and true health and happiness” says Dr. Kressin. Washington Autism Alliance feels very fortunate to have such a brilliant mind and ardent supporter of autistics and their access to healthcare.
