One of the good things that came out of the pandemic was setting up a system for people to participate in hearings, work groups and the legislative process from their computers from anywhere with internet access!!!
Our 2024 legislative priorities include but are not limited to:
- Create Community Asset Mapping and Crisis Stabilization Program
- Create Legal Services Pilot Program
- Prevent Inappropriate Hospital Boarding
- Abolish Isolation and Restrict Restraint Against Children with Disabilities
- Shift the Burden of Proof in Special Education Disputes to school districts
