Play & Support Group

Autism Play and Support Group is a social group for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and a place for their parents to connect. We meet the third Saturday of each month.  Each time there will be an activity centered around the interests of the children. Please let us know what your child is interested in so that we can make Autism Play and Support Group fun for all!

IMG_6416 (1)Autism Support and Play Group is run by Parent Volunteers: Ayn Mcnutt, WAAA W. King County Advocacy and Resource Coordinator and Trish Thrush, WAAA State Wide Advocacy and Resource Coordinator and is an official program of WAAA.  Autism Play and Support Group adheres to the WAAA policies putting a very high priority on each child’s safety and well being.

Each parent participant must remain with their child and is responsible for the safety and care of their child. Respite volunteers join us when they can. Autism Play and Support Group most often meets at The Neighborhood House. Every participant must adhere to the rules and regulations of The Neighborhood House. To participate each adult must complete a background check and sign the  Autism Support Group Parent Rights and Responsibilities
